The easiest way to restore the video is to press the play button. Audio will play normally, and the video will update as soon as your movie reaches the next key frame (or immediately, if you’re using a codec like Motion JPEG that doesn’t have key frames).

The reason the video goes blank has to do with a bug in our development environment. We’ve contacted the vendor and are working with them to resolve the problem.

Note that you may also experience this problem is you use a screen saver. In this case as well, the best way to restore the video is to press play.
